The UCLA Health Risk Reduction Projects (Debra A. Murphy, Ph.D., Principal Investigator) will be hiring one part-time interviewer (20 hours per week) for an HIV research project, entitled: Parents and Adolescents Coping Together (PACT III). This is a limited appointment position (50% for 12-18 months). Female applicants are preferred.
Duties
- Conduct assessment interviews with English- and monolingual Spanish-speaking HIV-positive women and their adolescents/early adults.
- Recruit, schedule, and track participants.
- Enter interview data.
- Participate in training and ongoing supervision.
Requirements
- BA/BS in psychology or related field.
- Ability to work with parents, and adolescents/young adults.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Ability to work flexible hours (including early evening and some weekends) and coordinate schedule with the other interviewer.
- Motor vehicle required. Travel throughout the Los Angeles area.
- Interest in working with diverse populations and families affected by
HIV.
