PEER (Positive Experiences, Enriching Relationships) is USC’s only peer mentoring program that provides a safe and confidential environment for Asian Pacific Americans to adjust to collegiate life. The program targets many issues that Asian Pacific Americans deal with in the transition to college, such as the pressure to pursue certain majors and achieve straight A’s.
The APA PEER program is a collaborative project between APASS and the USC Student Counseling Services. PEER matches continuing APA students with first-year students (freshmen and transfers) in a one-on-one mentoring relationship focused on transition, success, and growth.
